Aussie Fog is an “active” security system. Unlike traditional cameras that just record crime, our ceiling-mounted units fill your garage or shop with a thick, non-toxic fog the moment an intruder is detected, making it impossible for them to see—or steal—your property.
Not at all. The fog is made from food-grade materials and is completely non-toxic. Does the fog leave a residue or damage electronics?
No. Our fog is designed to be dry and clean. It disappears naturally without leaving a mess on your car, stock, or equipment.
How It Works
The unit features a motion sensor that alerts you via a smartphone app the moment movement is detected. You can then view the live camera feed and manually trigger the fog with the press of a button. This ensures you have total control and prevents accidental discharges.
Once activated, the fog remains thick enough to obscure vision for approximately 45 minutes.
After the fog has cleared, you simply replace the internal canister. We stock refill canisters on our website to ensure your property is never left unprotected for long.
Installation & Compatibility
The units are designed to be ceiling-mounted and the system is built to be user-friendly for those with a bit of “DIY” spirit.
We offer two main styles:
- The Base Unit: Ideal for standard residential garages, offices, or small rooms up to 50m².
- The Commercial Unit: Roughly the size of half a shoebox, designed for larger rooms or small businesses.
- Additional: Smaller units, each adding an extra 50m² of coverage. These units are cheaper as they don’t require motion/video coverage but are still activated remotely by the smartphone app
